Wishing You Joy

So I decided to participate in Dawn McVey's color challenge for the first time! It was a challenge, but fun! I also incorporated Got Sketch? 83. Here is the challenge:

Here is the card I made:

I started by stamping Damask Tiles with Grey Wool ink onto Grey Flannel CS. I hand cut the "Parenthesis" shape to the bottom and then sanded the whole piece. I adhered it to a piece of Black CS, and punched the top edge. Next, I punched the flower out of Watermelon CS, stamped the polka dots with Cranberry ink, crumpled and sanded. I added a white Just Blooms and deep red button I had been saving for several years, and tied together with black floss. I hand cut some leaves from Topiary CS, folded and sanded. The rest of the assembly is pretty self-explanatory. The supplies are listed below.

Supplies:
Stamps: CTMH Damask Tiles(C1342), CTMH Argyle Backgrounds(D1325), PTI Heartfelt Basics
Cardstock: CTMH Black, White Daisy, Grey Flannel, Watermelon, Topiary
Ink: CTMH Grey Wool, Black, Cranberry
Accessories: CTMH White Just Blooms, Offray Blck Checked Ribbon, Misc. button, black floss
Tools: EK Success Edge Punch, Marvy Uchida Flower punch
